Frequently Asked Questions

What is car coating and what does it do?
Car coating is a liquid ceramic or nano-ceramic layer applied to your car’s paint. Once cured, it forms a strong, transparent shield that protects your car from UV, dirt, bird droppings, and more, while giving a shiny, glossy finish.
What's the difference between coating and waxing?
Wax wears off after a few weeks. Coating, on the other hand, chemically bonds to your car’s paint and lasts for years, giving longer-lasting shine and protection.
Do I still need to wash my car after coating?
Yes, but much less effort is needed! Coating makes your car easier to clean as dirt, water, and grime don’t stick as easily. Just rinse and wipe, done!
Can I wash my car after coating?
We recommend avoiding washing your vehicle for at least 5-7 days after the coating installation. This allows the coating to properly cure and bond to the paint surface for optimal durability and performance. After the curing period, regular maintenance washing will help preserve the coating’s hydrophobic properties and glossy finish.
Can coating prevent scratches?
Coating provides some resistance against minor scratches and swirl marks, but it’s not 100% scratch-proof. However, it definitely adds an extra layer of protection.
Will my car look shinier after coating?
Yes! Coating enhances the gloss and depth of your paint, making it look like showroom quality — even better than new in some cases.
Can coating be applied to an old or used car?
Yes, we’ll do polishing or paint correction first to remove surface imperfections before applying the coating, so even older cars can look new again.
Do I need to reapply the coating every year?
Not necessary if you maintain it well. Some customers opt for yearly top-up or maintenance coatings, but high-quality coatings can last for years without redoing. We do recommend returning to our workshop for regular maintenance checks as this helps extend the lifespan and performance of the coating even further.
