What are the benefits of window tinting?
Tinting helps block heat, reduce glare, and protect against harmful UV rays. It also enhances privacy, improves driving comfort, and protects your car’s interior from fading and cracking.
What are the JPJ tint regulations in Malaysia?
According to current JPJ regulations, the front windscreen must have a minimum Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of 70%, while the front side windows must have at least 50% VLT. There is currently no VLT limit for the rear side windows and rear windscreen. We recommend consulting our team to select the tint film that balances comfort, privacy, and legal compliance.
How long does the tinting process take?
Typically, it takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on your vehicle size and the number of windows being tinted.
How long will the tint last?
The lifespan of window tint depends on the film quality, installation workmanship, and vehicle usage. High-quality ceramic films can typically last 7-10 years or more while maintaining their heat rejection performance and clarity. Factors such as frequent exposure to direct sunlight, vehicle maintenance, and overall environmental conditions may affect the film’s longevity.
Does the tint go on the inside or outside of the window?
All our tints are installed on the inside of the window, ensuring maximum durability and protection from the elements
How do I take care of tinted windows?
Use soft cloths and ammonia-free cleaners. Avoid using sharp or rough materials when wiping the inside, as they can scratch the film. Also, avoid sticking any suction-based items (like phone holders, shades, car cam) on the tinted surface, especially within the first few days, as the film is still curing and hasn’t fully adhered yet.
Does tinting affect visibility at night?
We offer films with high heat rejection and high clarity, even with lower VLT. We’ll help you choose a shade that balances daytime privacy and nighttime safety
Can I roll down my window after tint installation?
We recommend keeping your windows rolled up for at least 3-5days after installation. This allows the film adhesive to properly bond to the glass and prevents the edges from lifting or shifting. The exact drying time may vary depending on whether conditions and humidity. Our team will advise you after the installation.
Why are there water bubbles after tint installation?
Small water bubbles, haziness, or a slightly cloudy appearance are normal after tint installation. During the installation process, a water-based solution is used to position the film on the glass. As the film cures, the remaining moisture gradually evaporates through the film. Most water bubbles will disappear on their own within a few days depending on weather conditions. If large bubbles remain after the recommended curing period, feel free to contact us for an inspection.
